Handwoven Dish Towel: Black, white and gray stripes
Traditional Scandinavian handwovens often feature horizontal stripes on weave structures that can be produced on a simple four-shaft loom. When I wanted to experiment with stripes I warped a loom for Goose-Eye Twill, my favorite point twill, in a warp of a single color and then I played. That was years ago and these are still my favorite towels to weave.
Woven from cottolin yarn from Sweden, a blend of 60% cotton and 40% linen. These get softer the more they're used. Machine wash and dry.
