Butterflies of the Pacific Northwest is part of Rimerman's new Butterfly Series. This painting is mixed media with a powdered charcoal base & 22 layers of transparent fluid acrylic paint to create a sense of three dimensionality . Jan is working on another book to raise awareness of vanishing butterfly habitat. This painting is a possible candidate to be included in the new book.
