Spotted Heart x's 3

3 Part Heart Pendant.  One of a Kind.  1 large spotted heart and 2 medium reverse spotted hearts.  The metals are sterling silver and shakudo.  Shakudo is an alloy of copper and gold.  It is only alloyed in one place in the USA and not used often.  The technique is overlay marriage of metal.  The shakudo is soldered over the silver and then the piece is sanded, hammered and annealed until the metals are completely married.  It is then fabricated into whatever the design calls for and a patina is applied that brings out the blackish/purple color.  Length is 17.5"  Weight is 25.4 grams
This is a very special piece.  Only one was made.
